Gothenborg has been raising organic poultry since 1996, and has strong principles when it comes to animal welfare and organic production. We believe it’s time to do things in a new way which might be a bit old fashioned: animals should be reared outdoors in a natural setting, where they belong. Food should be prepared from scratch so that we decide for ourselves what goes into it. That’s common sense – and good taste. Gothenborg also has a well-stocked farm shop and kitchen garden. The shop emphasises freshness, and we have our own stone mill, for example, so customers can have freshly ground flour. As a sideline, Gothenborg has extended its premises to create pleasant, rustic rooms as a tranquil, beautiful setting for functions of all types. Every Sunday, we serve an authentic, delicious brunch buffet of seasonal ingredients, including our own produce.
