Tollundgaard Put & Take is one of Denmark’s oldest angler lakes. The lake opened in the existing Tollund Lake in 1982. Later the lake has been enlarged with excavations and is around 60.000 m2 today. The past of the lake as an angler lake means that the nature has developed around the lake and that the place is fringed with forest today.
In the lake you will find:
- a lot of different trouts
- carps
- eels
- a rich bird and animal life
Tollundgaard emphasizes during the maintenance of the lake that Tollundgaard leave consideration of the nature and places where birds and fish should live in peace. Furthermore Tollundgaard want an angler lake which meets every angler in different levels. That means that there are places around the lake, where it is easy to fish and other places which demands more expertise and eventually waders.
