Guest plates are available from Silkeborg Tourist Office and the following agencies. Guest plates are valid for up to 14 days. A set of number plates costs 330 DKK (30 DKK rent and 300 DKK deposit). Deposits are returned when numberplates are returned. If you wish to sail on the lakes for longer than 14 days, and wish to rent a set of number plates, please contact Silkeborg Local Authority's Service Dept... Where to put your boat in the rivers and lakes

You can put your boat into the lake and river at Ry Marina and at Indelukket in Silkeborg. The price at Indelukket is DKK 75,-

Overnight moorings on the River Guden and Silkeborg lakes should be booked in advance.
