The luxury package is the obvious choice if you want to spoil the people you really care about - while experiencing the beautiful nature.

You can combine the luxury packages in different ways with a duration of two or three days.
The luxury packages are offered from 1st May until 1st October. The canoe is handed out at the starting point from 9 a.m. and must be handed in at the finish point no later than 4 p.m.
The duration of sailing can vary according to the stream.

A-LUXURY CANOE TRIP
Duration: 1 day
Distance: Silkeborg - Kongensbro 23 km. Duration approx. 5 hours
Starting point: Silkeborg Kanocenter/Havnen, Østergade 36, 8600 Silkeborg
Finish point: Kongensbro, on the opposite side of the inn before the bridge.
Accomodation: Kongensbro Kro, Gl. Kongevej 70, 8643 Ans By
Description of the trip:
You will be starting with sailing/phasing out through the lock. After that you will be sailing over Silkeborg Langsø and further on the Gudenå River. From here the stream will take you through magnificent nature towards Lake Sminge, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy ýour own lunch - or you can choose to sail approx. 15 minutes longer where Svostrup Kro will come into sight along the left side of the shore and where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a nice lunch in the garden of the inn.
After lunch, the last part of the trip towards Kongensbro will take you pass Tvilum Kirke, which is the last part of the Augustinian monastery from approx. the year of 1250.
When arriving at Kongensbro, the canoe shall be placed on land on the right side - from here you will find a bridge leading to Kongensbro Kro, which is situated right across the landing place.
At Kongensbro Inn you will be offered afternoon coffee and cake. Thereafter a three course dinner will be served - accomodation in a double room together with breakfast the next day.

B-LUXURY CANOE TRIP
Duration: 1 day
Distance: Ry - Silkeborg 17 km. Duration approx. 5 hours
Starting point: Skimminghøj Teltplads, Siimtoften 15, 8689 Ry
Finish point: Silkeborg Kanocenter/Havnen, Østergade 36, 8600 Silkeborg
Accomodation: Hotel Dania, Torvet 5, 8600 Silkeborg
Description of the trip:
You will be starting with sailing from Ry, from here you will be sailing towards Silkeborg. On the way you will be sailing on the Silkeborg-søerne (lakes) and pass Himmelbjerget. Himmelbjerget is an obvious place to take a break. You could enjoy a packed lunch, or a meal at Hotel Julsø.
There is also the opportunity to sail for 45 minutes longer where you can enjoy a tasty meal and an unsurpassed view of Julsø at the inn, Aalekroen.
Afterwards you will get the possibility to enjoy nature once more, surrounding the lakes on the rest of the trip towards Silkeborg. Before approaching the Gudenå River, in Silkeborg, you will have the opportunity to sail in Avnsø (also called the glasses), which is a small lake with a fantastic silence - definitely worth a visit...
When you arrive at the finish point, the Harbour in Silkeborg, you hand in the canoe and from here you have only five minutes walk to Hotel Dania.
At Hotel Dania you can enjoy a lovely 4-course gourmet menu - accomodation in a double room and a well-arranged breakfast buffet.

Description of the trip:
On this trip you have the opportunity to plan your day yourself.
You will get a canoe at your disposal and hereafter you will have all of the surrounding lakes and a part of the Gudenå River to experience. This gives you the opportunity to sail to the Lakes Avnsø or Slåensø and possibly a trip to Himmelbjerget. On the way you can enjoy a lunch at one of the different places situated by the lakes. You can also bring your own lunch basket and a blanket and enjoy a picnic lunch.
After the entire day on the Silkeborg Lakes, you can look forward to a lovely evening at the nice Hotel Dania.
Hotel Dania is situated, with five minutes walk from the Harbour, at the centre of Silkeborg with the many shops, cafés and night clubs on the pedestrian street.
At Hotel Dania you can enjoy a 2-course menu, accomodation in a double room and a breakfast buffet.

Kongensbro Inn Kongensbro Inn once provided accommodation for bargemen. Today it's the perfect stop off point on a canoe trip. The Inn, and its royal priviliges dates from 1663 and has been in the same family for three generations. There's an excellent view of the Inn's garden from the Inn, right down to the Gudenå River.
